The first time I met Mel was during a workshop to improve ones public speaking skills called Ready2Speak. Mel entered the room and I could already see that he knows exactly what he is doing and I can only benefit by listening to his speeches. In the following two Months he taught us how to give speeches, look confident while doing it and that he is in fact a comedian. His sessions were filled with humor, knowledge and tons of practice and I am sure that I speak for the group when I say that this workshop was a lot of fun and we all polished up our skills. I had the honour of organising and participating in a humorous speech workshop by Mel. After the workshop the feedback from the participants was overwhelming. They were fascinated and thrilled by Mel, the content and the delivery. I personally enjoyed getting very practical tools on how to develop my own humour. Even though I found out that it is hard to be funny, Mel gave me the confidence to keep on trying and not to give up.
